Paula Page PR is a boutique public relations agency specializing in medical, health, wellness, science, biotech, philanthropy and more. We attract game changers. We craft messaging. We get the right people to take notice.
For the past 15 years, we’ve helped select innovators gain exposure for their brands by expanding upon the traditional definition of PR. We don’t just rely on blasting pitches and press releases; instead, we understand who our clients want to reach, and calibrate our campaigns accordingly. This creative approach culminates more than good press. We employ a fully-realized platform resulting in speaking requests, awards, traffic-generating contests, social media engagement, and extraordinary press coverage.
Because we believe in seeding media contacts with exactly the story ideas they’re looking for, media frequently reaches out to us for credible sources who can aid them in their assignments. This is the Paula Page PR reputation: close, trusted relationships with press, cultivated by a team who is highly selective about clients, and uniquely suited to reach their target audience.
Paula Page
Founder
As an English major at UCLA, Paula Page always knew she wanted a creative career. But it wasn’t until she jumped in with both feet at a Bay Area-based PR agency that she discovered her knack for strategy, her passion for telling clients’ stories, and her eagerness to publicize them. Cutting her teeth on exclusive lifestyle brands, including Vidal Sassoon and The Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel on Nob Hill, Paula entered the PR industry immediately interfacing with high-level media. During this phase, she also represented Nobel Laureate Dr. Kary Mullis, innovator behind the DNA fingerprinting process PCR: the Polymerase Chain Reaction. Soon after she transitioned to the health and wellness space, performing media outreach for one of the country’s foremost cosmetic surgeons, and eventually to Edelman Worldwide, where she freelanced on campaigns during the dot com boom. This gave her critical experience working on breakthrough internet brands, including emergent e-commerce platforms Microsoft CarPoint, Digital Chef, and Santa.com.
After time well spent, Paula launched her own publicity agency in 2007, taking on clients in science, biotech, health and wellness. In addition to coordinating national book tours and orchestrating satellite media tours, Paula produced several video news releases, which included script writing, managing b-roll and interview shoots, and editing video for maximum impact. It was during this time she coordinated with physicians and experts at Stanford University, Wake Forest University, and Rutgers University, detailing study results and securing enormous media coverage in the process. During her time as a publicist, Paula has placed her clients on national television programs, such as NBC Nightly News, CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS the Early Show, CNBC Squawk Box, Larry King Live, as well as in top-tier print publications including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, National Geographic, Inc., Businessweek, VOGUE, Glamour, O Magazine, Town and Country, Marie Claire, Shape, SELF, Good Housekeeping, The Bump, Women’s Health, Parents, Health, San Francisco Chronicle, Discover, and Newsweek.
